We were in total listed over 9 months with 2 different large firms. Our property was a bit unique because we had a lot to the side that could be built on. Both previous real estates seemed to only bring there own buyers. We had placed the property in MLS but only the firm that we had signed with would come. The one company that we had listed with we even suspected of bringing a dummy buyer. It all was so overwhelming.
After the listing had expired for the 3rd time, Virginia Rallis came along. She went over every aspect of the market explaining why our property had not sold and what she would do to get it sold. We would give it a try with her office. We had been fooled before but we had to sell our home. She just seemed like the right person. Someone very honest and straight.
While listed with Virginia Rallis we also had to file an ethics complaint against a large area companies agent. An agent approached us wanting to bring a buyer but trying to persuade us to not let Virginia Rallis Realty know. We were shocked.
Virginia exposed our home to many potential buyers. We had never seen so many different agents from other offices come to our home. There were 2 very good offers presented to us. One from Virginia's office and another from another office. Virginia stated that they were both good offers but she advised us to meet with our attorney to decide.
